Below are 17 extremely talented woman that TheConcertGator believe’s will prosper and beyond in their careers in 2017. If you haven’t already, check them out and learn a little about each of them below!

#17. Noah Cyrus

Noah Cyrus is more than just Miley Cyrus’s sister. The 17 year old singer-songwriter and actress released her debut single “Make Me (Cry)” a collaboration with Labrinth in late 2016. The song has allowed her to be nominated for two Radio Disney Awards and will jump start the campaign for her debut album “NC-17” that will be released in 2017.

#16. Daya

Daya has skyrocketed to fame in 2016 and it can be expected that it will carry over into 2017. The 18 year old singer-songwriter’s debut album, “Sit Still, Look Pretty” debuted in the top 40 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. She also had three back to back hit singles with, “Hide Away”, “Don’t Let Me Down” a top ten collaboration with The Chainsmokers, and “Sit Still, Look Pretty”.  In 2017 she has so far won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording and kicked her first headlining tour.

Victoria Monet began her career writing songs for artist such as Ariana Grande, T.I., Machine Gun Kelly, Fifth Harmony, and more. The songwriter also sings herself and plans on releasing her debut album in 2017, entitled “Life After Love”. She also was the opening act on Ariana Grande’s major arena “Dangerous Woman Tour”. Expect to see a lot more Victoria through 2017.

#14. Zara Larsson

Zara Larrson took 2016 by storm with a huge launch to her pop music career. The 19 year old singer-songwriter had back to back worldwide hits with, “Lush Life”, “Never Forget You”, “Ain’t My Fault”, “I Would Like”, “Girl’s Like”, “This One’s For You”, and “Symphony”. She released her debut album “So Good” in March 2017 and is expected to tour the world through the year.

#13. Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello is known as a former member of girl group “Fifth Harmony”. She plans to prove that she’s much more than that as a solo artist in 2017. In 2016 she had mega success with Fifth Harmony and hit single “Bad Things”, a duet with Machine Gun Kelly. She is expected to release her debut solo album this year and tour. With an army of impressive producers and songwriters standing tall behind her, it will be interesting to see where Cabello’s career lands solo.

#12. Cassie

You may recognize Cassie from her timeless debut single, “Me & You” which went top three on the Billboard Hot 100 11 years ago. Fans have wondered what the hold up is for new music, but she is expected to make the follow up to 2013’s “RockaByeBaby” in 2017. She has recently teased the new music on social media and fans are anxious to see what’s next. With that being said Cassie is much more than just the singer behind “Me & You” and hopefully we see that in 2017.

Iggy Azalea may not seem like a rising star to everybody, but she still is rising and evolving as an artist. In 2014, Iggy had massive amounts of success with her debut album “The New Classic” featuring #1 hit “Fancy”. Since Iggy suffered major backlash from the general public and the Hip-Hop community. Iggy has been through a lot and hopefully this transitions into her new album, “Digital Distortion” which will drop in 2017. Iggy dropped a twerking anthem in March entitled, “Mo Bounce” and is expected to tour in 2017 as well. We should all be keeping watch for Iggy’s next album and future projects. She is just getting started.

#10. Justine Skye

Justine Skye is a gorgeous singer-songwriter with massive amounts of momentum on social media. The purple unicorn released “8 Ounces” an R&B infused EP at the end of 2016 and transitioned the momentum into 2017. She recently was signed to Roc Nation and partnered with Forever 21 for their Spring clothing collection and a exclusive track entitled “Flames”. She is expected to release her full length, debut album in 2017.

#9. Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa started off 2017 with the title of Best New Artist at the NME Awards. She finished off 2016 transitioning into 2017 with worldwide hit singles, “Be The One”, “Hotter Than Hell”, “Blow Your Mind”, and “Scared To Be Lonely” a collaboration with Martin Garrix. Her first North American headlining tour began in February and sold out in every single city. She will continue the tour in Europe / UK through Spring and release her debut self titled album June 2nd.

Cardi B began her career on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop and released two mixtapes. One of those mixtapes being entitled, “Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2” which dropped in 2017. The streets are buzzing as Cardi inked a multi-million dollar record deal with Atlantic Records and continues to increase in social media presence with 6.6 million followers on Instagram as of April 2017. Cardi is expected to release her high anticipated debut album through Atlantic Records in 2017.

#7. Dreezy

Multi talented singer, rapper, and songwriter Dreezy dropped her debut album “No Hard Feelings” in 2016 featuring the platinum hit “Body” and the ride or die anthem, “We Gone Ride” featuring Gucci Mane. In 2017, Dreezy received her first platinum plaque and will tour nation wide as the support act with trap legend Gucci Mane. She was also nominated for Best New R&B Artist at the 2017 iHeartRadio Awards and is expected to release her sophomore album sometime this year. The momentum is there and we can all only be excited to see what is next for the rising star.

After a ten year gap between her massive sophomore album in 2006, “The High Road” and 2016’s “Mad Love” JoJo is just getting started. Due to ridiculous record label chaos JoJo’s music career was put on hold aside from several mixtapes, EPs, and tours in between. Her super dedicated fanbase stuck it out proven with Mad Love’s success and a 69 date 2017 world tour touching down in London, Paris, Los Angeles, and New York City just to name a few. Every date on the tour has been sold out. JoJo is expected to release more new music in 2017 and it’s safe to say there is still a lot for us to see and hear from JoJo. The soulful talent will continue to prosper.

Sevyn Streeter is easily one of R&B’s greatest talents. The singer-songwriter has wrote hit songs for Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, and Ariana Grande. Aside from writing others hits she’s also wrote her own, including the Chris Brown featured “It Won’t Stop”. In 2017, Streeter began her second headlining tour which featured sold out stops in cities across North America. She is expected to release her extremely highly anticipated debut album “Girl Disrupted” this Spring. The singer, songwriter, and dancer has a lot of talent and brilliance to offer the world.

One of the most inspirational artist to step onto the scene is Kehlani. The unique, special, and extremely talented singer-songwriter released her debut album “SweetSexySavage” in January 2017. The debut album that has been given favorable acclaim from both fans and critics. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and she launched her first world tour with 82 dates all sold out or expected to be sold out. Kehlani is expected to continue to keep her major buzz going in 2017 as one of R&B’s most successful rising stars from music to touring to magazine covers. Her momentum continues!

BeBe Rexha is the singer-songwriter behind songs such as the #1 smash single, “The Monster” by Eminem and Rihanna. She also is the hitmaker behind “Hey Mama” with David Guetta and Nicki Minaj and “Me, Myself, & I” with G-Eazy. In 2017 she released part 1 of her highly anticipated debut album, “All Your Fault” and announced it’s accompanying tour that sold out in all 21 cities in nearly minutes across North America. She will continue the tour through Europe, UK, and additional North American dates along with releasing the second part of “All Your Fault”.  It’s safe to say that this extremely talented songstress is just getting started. Cult could almost be an understatement for the musicians dedicated fanbase that is ever so supportive covering their body in tattoos of her inspiring lyrics, selling out her shows, and buying up ehr clothing line ShopNBK. Niykee and manager, Lauren have inspired thousands among thousands with their self confidence, ambitious words, and infectious tunes. Niykee makes music that pleases the soul and she will continue to do that in 2017. The singer-songwriter also plays the guitar and self produces all of her music. After a very successful mixtape and nation wide successful “Centerfold Tour” in 2016 she is expected to continue with her momentum by releasing her full length debut album in 2017.

Tinashe has been on all of our radars for the past few years – like her or not she is insanely talented. Her career launched with self written and produced mixtapes, her debut hit single “2 On”, and debut album “Aquarius”.  “Aquarius” was praised as a masterpiece by both critics and her dedicated fanbase causing it to be labeled as underrated.  In 2015 her momentum continued opening for Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry on tour. In 2016 she headlined her second major tour, released fan favorite mixtape, “Nightride”, and collaborated with pop legend Britney Spears. 2017 has started off just right for Tinashe as she released her newest single “Flame”, performed “America The Beautiful” for WrestleMania, toured with Maroon 5, partnered with Pepsi, partnered with Johh Frieda Hair Care, partnered with Gucci Couture, will guest star on hit TV show “Empire”, and is expected to release her highly anticipated sophomore album “Joyride”.
